Winter Garden
What a difference a day makes! From Fall garden to Winter in one day. Not sure if the snow is going to last – looks like a warm up for Thanksgiving but it is pretty today. 8 inches of snow on November 20th. Wow!
There is nothing that looks so pure as fresh fallen snow before the melt and before shoveling and bunches of tracks. Although I see the bunnies have been about. 🙂
The new fallen snow always makes me marvel about the grace of Jesus and the fact that he says, “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18 To have the stain of sin removed and to be given grace that pardons and not only pardons but makes me new, whole, complete. I have been given new life through Jesus’ sacrifice. New hope, new peace. What a marvel, what a joy! He loves me!
Just dwell on that for a moment. He loves….me. He accepts…..me. He looks on me with eyes of love. He makes me to “sparkle…like jewels in a crown” Zechariah 9:12. Or to sparkle like snow in the sun. Think on it! Really pause to to think on it. In His eyes we are clean! Do we still sin? Do we still screw up? Yes, but Jesus made us clean. In His eyes we are clean. It is His desire for us to know the freedom of that. To really be able to walk in the freedom of purity. To not strive to do good, but to accept the gracious gift that Jesus already gave us. Not something to work for but to just accept. What freedom, what peace. I am loved…………you are loved. We are forgiven……come to Him and receive that forgiveness and pardon. And like me breathe a sigh of joy and peace.
